Speech 7 in the ToastMasters Competent Communicators manual “Research Your Topic”

The objective is: to collect information about a topic from a variety of sources; support points and opinions withspecific facts, examples and illustrations.

I took 8mins 10 secs - it should have been 5 to 7 minutes …which it did in practice! One of the most enjoyable speeches yet, it was improved by writing the speech several days earlier and making the time to try it in front of my mentor BEFORE practicing the final version on the day.
